When the parents of three began shopping for their oldest to attend sleepaway camp for the first time, they couldn't believe how much all the clothing and merch could cost.

After all, they had already paid so much for day camp gear (both required and decorated) that was now piling up on a lonely shelf. And their daughter had only worn it all for a short time!

Wasn't there somewhere that would take her former camp items so we didn't have to toss them?! And a place where we could buy all the new stuff without spending a crazy amount just for her to grow out of it after a summer or two?

After running the idea by our fellow camp parents and insiders, Recamped was born as the ultimate camp resale destination.

Taking Hali's background in fashion/editorial and Larry's background in large scale operations, and our collective camp experiences (shoutout Towanda and Ramah Berkshires!), we are so excited to be able to offer a brand new way to shop for camp.
